Our regions
Located in East Central Saskatchewan, Yorkton’s Main Campus and Trades & Technology Centre are situated close to Good Spirit Lake and Madge Lake, where popular pastimes include fishing, boating, hiking, canoeing, and golf. For winter fun, we’re also close to two ski hills at Mission Ridge and Asessippi.

The arts, culture and recreational scene flourishes in Yorkton. There are always numerous community events going on in Yorkton like the Yorkton Film Festival, Festival of Cultures hosted by Partners in Settlement & Integration, Yorkton Exhibition, and the Harvest Showdown. When it comes to organized sports, each winter the focus of the community attention turns to the rivalry between the SJHL’s Yorkton Terriers and the Melville Millionaires.
If you’re looking to keep busy you can get involved in recreational sports or enjoy the community at the local social spots, the mall, the movies and the wave pool.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for in Yorkton we’re located just 2 hours from Regina, 3.5 hours from Saskatoon and just over 4.5 hours to Winnipeg.
