Scholarships Available to Future Students

Suncrest College is committed to recognizing academic excellence and supporting students as they begin their post-secondary journey. Students graduating from high school and/or entering their first year of full-time studies in university or skills training (trades, health, business, emergency services, etc.) at Suncrest College this fall are invited to apply for Entrance Scholarships. Applicants must meet the requirements outlined for each award to be eligible.

General Entrance Scholarships are open to eligible applicants and are awarded based on a combination of academic achievement, leadership, and financial need.

Our Entrance Scholarship Program provides meaningful financial support to students enrolling in full-time programs at Suncrest College.

Scholarship Criteria & Regulations

Transcripts
Please send a copy of your final Grade 12 transcript OR your Grade 12 first semester marks if you are graduating in June 20256 Your application is not complete until we have a high school transcript. Transcripts must be sent to [email protected]

Letter of Rationale
The letter of rationale is used in the event of two merit-based applicants having the same average. Please include basic biographical information not asked for in the application and some reasons why you deserve to be the recipient of a scholarship.

Disbursement
Award recipients will generally be notified in early June 2026. Students chosen for a scholarship will receive a cheque after their program has started and tuition has been paid. Students will be recognized at the Scholarship ceremony held annually in March annually.

Eligibility
a. You must be beginning post-secondary studies at Suncrest College for the 2026/27 academic year.
b. You must be a full-time student to be eligible for many of these awards. A full-time student is defined as someone who will be taking at least 60% of the maximum course load (i.e. three university classes per term).
c. You must be a Canadian citizen.
d. Proof of enrollment and paid tuition for university classes must be submitted to Suncrest College Admissions at [email protected].
e. Applicants must apply to a program and complete this form by April 30, 2026 to be eligible. Suncrest College accepts no responsibility and will not be liable for entries that are not received, incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected for whatever reason.
