Instructor, Early Childhood Education: Certificate of Achievement

Suncrest College welcomes applications for an Instructor, Early Childhood Education. This is a part-time term position running from January 2, 2025 – May 24, 2025 (for 207 hours/34.5 days), in Melfort, SK.

The Opportunity:

This position is primarily responsible for instructing the ECE courses in the Early Childhood Education Certificate of Achievement Program, credited by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The instructor’s responsibilities include lesson planning, developing and delivering practical and theoretical instruction, evaluating student performance, and providing reports as required. 

Requirements:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a four-year Bachelor of Education Degree.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with the following qualifications:
    • Experience teaching the Saskatchewan Polytechnic ECE program.
    • Specialization in Early Childhood Education.
  • The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is two years experience in the last five years working in an early childhood setting as a child care worker, educator or Instructor. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
