Our Health and Human Services area brings a full gamut of health programming to an every growing and demanding sector in our province. The portfolio of training along with expert and engaged instructors provide training that is second to none.

Notes

  • This diploma program will be delivered over multiple years with a revolving schedule of repeating classes so students can apply at any time and upon acceptance can register for classes on a part-time basis.
  • First a student must apply, then upon acceptance letter will be able to register and pay for classes online.
  • There is space for 15 students in each module.
  • Spots will be secured with a paid registration.
  • Registrations will close 1 week before the start date of the module.
  • For each module, there will be at least 3 days where you will have face-to-face classes and there will be at least 4 days of virtual classes you will need to attend.
  • BOOKS - you are responsible to order your books from the Saskpolytechnic bookstore. We suggest you order books at least 2 weeks before your class starts. More details to follow in July.
  • CANCELLATIONS: If you choose not to take a course you must cancel 3 business days or more before the course starts to receive a refund. If you cancel less than 3 business days before no refund will be received.

Career Options

There’s high demand for Level III ECEs in Saskatchewan. Your diploma allows you to work in group early learning and care settings with children from birth to age 12. Your career options could include working with children with diverse needs, working as a frontline educator or director in an early learning and child care centre, working in a preschool or elementary school setting, a Kids First or Aboriginal Head Start program, early childhood intervention programs (ECIP), or a family day home or private home as a nanny.

I chose College because it was close to home and I could attend classes while I was working. The best thing about College is the small class sizes and awesome instructors.
