MELFORT, SK — Suncrest College has officially wrapped up its 2025 graduation ceremonies, marking a proud week of celebration across the region as nearly 400 graduates were recognized during two events in Melfort and Yorkton.
On May 29, the final ceremony took place at the Kerry Vickar Centre in Melfort, where the accomplishments of students from the Melfort, Tisdale, and Nipawin campuses were celebrated by family, friends, staff, and community members.
Earlier in the week, on May 27, the Anne Portnuff Theatre in Yorkton was filled with pride and excitement as graduates from the Yorkton, Melville, Fort Qu’Appelle, Canora, Kamsack, and Esterhazy campuses crossed the stage to receive their credentials.
“These students have worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments,” said Alison Dubreuil, President & CEO of Suncrest College. “The Class of 2025 represents not only personal success stories, but also the strength and future of our communities. We are excited to see where their journeys take them next.”
This year marked the second round of graduation celebrations under the Suncrest College name, following the successful merger of Cumberland College and Parkland College.
As the college continues to grow and evolve, the achievements of the Class of 2025 serve as a powerful reminder of the impact of accessible, high-quality education across in the region.
