At Suncrest College, we believe in rewarding academic excellence—and we’re making it easier than ever with our Guaranteed Entrance Scholarships! If you meet the eligibility criteria, you’ll receive a $3,000 scholarship.

Annual application period: March 1 - April 30.

Who Is Eligible?

To qualify for a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship, you must:
✔️ Be a new full-time student at Suncrest College.
✔️ Be entering a post-secondary certificate, diploma or university program.
✔️ Have graduated high school within the last two years.
✔️ Have a final high school admission average of 90% or higher.

Scholarship Stacking: Get Even More Funding

If you qualify for a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship, you automatically receive $3,000 toward your first year. But that’s not all—you can still apply for other Suncrest College scholarships and awards, giving you even more opportunities to fund your education!

FAQ's - Guaranteed Entrance Scholarships

You don’t need to apply! If you meet the eligibility criteria, your scholarship is automatically awarded when you apply to Suncrest College and submit your high school transcript.


To qualify, you must:
  ✔ Be a new full-time post-secondary education student at Suncrest College.*
  ✔ Be entering a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or university program.
  ✔ Have graduated high school within the last two years.
  ✔ Have a final high school admission average of 90% or higher.

* Full-time university enrollment requires a minimum of 18 credit units in Suncrest College section courses.  If you are unsure, please contact an advisor to confirm your registration in the correct sections.


Each eligible student receives $3,000, applied directly to their tuition and fees. If you don’t have an outstanding balance, you’ll receive a cheque for the remaining amount.


Calculation of Admission Average & Transcript Submission

Admission averages are determined using the following subject weightings:

✔️ One English 20 or 30 

✔️ One Mathematics 20 or 30

✔️ Three additional approved subjects, which may include: Up to two 20 or 30 level natural sciences, up to two 20 or 30 level social sciences or humanities, up to one 20 or 30 level fine or performing arts subject.

Averages are calculated based on official MyCreds transcripts. To submit your high school transcript:

✔️ Order your high school transcripts HERE.

✔️ Watch this video guide on how to share transcripts.

✔️ When sharing transcripts, do not enter an expiry date to allow for automatic updates.

✔️ Select Suncrest College as the recipient organization.


Your scholarship will be confirmed in your admission letter.

If you’re a university student you’ll receive an email notification by June 30.


Yes, you can receive a $3000 Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship alongside other financial aid opportunities, including:

External Scholarships: Awards from other institutions, such as the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, or Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

Suncrest College Scholarships & Bursaries: Additional internal awards are available for eligible students. Applications are open from December to January each year.


Your $3,000 Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship is applied to your Suncrest College student account.

Applied to Tuition & Fees – The scholarship is first used to cover any outstanding tuition and fees.

Refund Issued (If Applicable) – If you don’t have an outstanding balance, the remaining scholarship amount will be issued to you as a refund check.

Payment Timeline – Scholarship funds are applied by September 30 each year.

University Students - Will need to submit a proof of payment by sending receipt to [email protected] by Sept 15.


To keep your scholarship, you must remain a full time student.

If you drop below 18 credit units, your scholarship will be revoked, and you may need to repay the funds.


Yes, scholarships may be revoked if a student does not meet enrollment or academic requirements, withdraws from their program, or reduces their course load below full-time status.
