Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Student Research Assistant at our Research Farm, in Yorkton, SK. This is a full-time, term position, from May 1, 2027 to August 30, 2027.

The Opportunity: 

This position is primarily responsible for assisting with all aspects of the applied research project.

Requirements:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is equivalent to the admission to a post-secondary program offered at Suncrest College (University programs preferred). 
  • Active learner with a post-secondary institution. 
  • The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is less than one year. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment. 
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s license
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check 
  • Valid work permit for the duration of the position term

What We Offer:

  • Full-Time employment (approximately 37.5 hours per week).
  • Competitive Compensation in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (starting at $20.44 per hour).
