About Yann Martel: A Literary Icon
Born in Spain to French Canadian parents, Yann Martel’s journey into literature has been as adventurous as his stories. He later pursued philosophy at Trent University, a foundation that deeply influences his literary themes.
Martel’s work explores profound ideas of identity, imagination, and the power of storytelling.
