Student Research Assistant

Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Student Research Assistant. This is a part-time (432 hour contract), term position, in Yorkton, SK.  The term for this position starts on May 11, 2026 and ends on June 30, 2027.

The Opportunity:

This position is primarily responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Land Based Education applied research project.

Requirements:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is equivalent to the admission to a post-secondary program offered at Suncrest College (University programs preferred).
  • Active student with a post-secondary institution.
  • The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is less than one year.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the work term.
