Industrial Mechanics Instructor

Suncrest College welcomes applications for an Instructor in the Industrial Mechanics program. This is an ongoing, full-time instructor position starting March 16, 2026. This position is located in Esterhazy, SK.

The Opportunity:

This position is primarily responsible for instructing in the Industrial Mechanics program. The Industrial Mechanics Apprenticeship program is delivered in partnership with Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC), Suncrest College, and local industry partners.  This instructor will be responsible for the instruction and delivery of SATCC apprenticeship levels of training as well as Saskatchewan Polytechnic Industrial Mechanics certificate programming as required.

Requirements:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a grade 12 diploma or equivalent and an Industrial Mechanics Interprovincial Journeyperson certificate or Red Seal designation.
  • The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is five years post journeyperson experience
  • Preference will be given to candidate with previous instructional experience.
  • Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and receive necessary approval.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver's license.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
