Computer Networking Technician Certificate Instructor

Suncrest College welcomes applications for an Instructor, Computer Networking Technician Certificate. This is a part-time term position from August 17, 2026 to May 28, 2027 (for 900 hours/150 days), in Yorkton, SK.

Term Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for instruction of the Computer Networking Technician Certificate program. Tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assignments, lectures, and exams.  Instructors will use technology in their delivery when possible to enhance student’s learning experience.

Requirements:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering OR Diploma from a recognized technology level program OR an equivalent combination of formal education and related experience.
  • The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is two years’ recent/relevant experience in Network administration with Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).  Windows 2022 Server and Management Network, Python, A+, CCNA Cybersecurity, Linux+, and Linux Server+, and IT project management.  Instructor Status within Netacad.  Experience in telecommunications will be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Netacad and Brightspace are an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License.
