Professional Development
Consistent with our belief in promoting lifelong learning, Suncrest College is committed to encouraging and supporting employees' education and work-related training opportunities. All active, full-time and part-time, in-scope and out-of-scope Suncrest employees have access to Professional Development funds, that when approved can be used for training opportunities which may include professional development, training, seminars, and in-services intended to enhance the educational experience of employees, learners and the efficiency of the College.
Employee & Family Assistance Program
The Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is a benefit program to provide eligible Suncrest College employees and their immediate family members with access to confidential, professional counselling resources providing preventative and short-term intervention services. Our EFAP gives employees access to caring clinicians that can provide support in areas such as: Fitness and physical health, Mental health, Relationships, Nutrition, Finances, Elder care, Legal, and Mindfulness coaching. This program is completely voluntary and is designed to allow employees and family members to seek help on their own.
