Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Marketing & Design Intern - Research Student. This is a part-time (35 hours per week), term position, based out of our Yorkton - Prystai Way Campus.  The term for this position is January 12, 2026 to September 30, 2026.

The Opportunity:

This position is primarily responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Mitacs Business Strategy project as assigned. 

The City of Yorkton Economic Development Department seeks an intern to work with the Business Liaison, and multiple departments at the City, to develop a comprehensive visual identity guide, including new logos, colour schemes, and templates. The project’s goals are to deliver a comprehensive visual identity guide, a set of branded templates, and a training guide for all city departments to use to incorporate the new guidelines. 

Requirements:

  • The minimum educational educational qualification for this position is equivalent to the admission to a program offered at the College.
  • Active student with a post-secondary institution or recent graduate (within past 12 months). Recent graduate preferred.
  • The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is less than one year.
  • Education and practical experience in digital marketing and branding are considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the internship.
